Happy Birthday Marissa!

We made cupcakes for another teacher in my buildings daughter, Marissa.  Happy 13th birthday!!!

These were our first try at Oreo cupcakes and they were wonderful!  Both the cake and the frosting had crushed up Oreo's in them!

Here are our pink lemonade cupcakes!  The cake was a lemonade flavor with grenadine and the frosting was strawberry.  Then we added a sour cherry ball to the top!  They were good and very cute!

Holiday Previews!

So we decided to make some demo cupcakes to show some of our holiday ideas!  They turned out so adorable!  We have so many more ideas too!  These would all be great for holiday parties and family gatherings!

These are some of our Halloween ideas...an adorable Jack-o-Lantern, a witch hat made out of an Oreo and a Hershey kiss, and a candy corn!

These are our Thanksgiving ones...a turkey made out of mini M & M's and candy corn and then an owl (or scared turkey) made from Oreos and M & M's!

These are some of our Christmas ideas! An adorable reindeer with pretzels, M & M's and a sour cherry ball for the nose!  A santa's hat made out of frosting! My personal favorite...a melting snowman made with a marshmallow!

Kiera's Baptism

Jenny's niece Kiera was baptized on Sunday!  We made these beautiful cupcakes for her!  We tried a new flavor and they were great!  We did a champagne cake with a champagne frosting...so yummy!

Happy Birthday Ike!

Along with celebrating Maddie's birthday, we celebrated her cousin Ike's 3rd birthday too!  For him we stretched our creativity and made this race car! It was adorable and everyone was very impressed!  We made strawberry cake with vanilla frosting for these! HAPPY BIRTHDAY IKE!!!

Happy Birthday Maddie!!!

So for Maddie's (Jenny's youngest daughter) 3rd birthday we made her some Dora cupcakes (Dora is Maddie's FAVORITE!) We were not super impressed with how Dora turned out, but Maddie absolutely adored them and was SO EXCITED when she saw them, so that's all the matters, right? We also made her some cute rainbow cupcakes!  Both were Fruity Pebble cakes with watermelon frosting....they were so good! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE!!!

One Fish, Two Fish...

These were for a baby shower.  The theme was Dr. Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish....these turned out adorable!  We did just traditional vanilla and chocolate cake with almond frosting.  The scales are mini M & M's and the tails are Airheads.  So cute and fun!

Save the Tatas!!!

My school puts a team together for The Race for the Cure...our team name is Thanks for ALL the Mammories! :)  We were asked to donate some cupcakes to help push for some more people to join our team and of course we were happy to!  We made our signature pina colada cake with banana frosting and strawberry cake with banana frosting! They were both very good and were for a great cause!

GO BIG RED!!!

I had a Husker tailgate luncheon at my work, so we made these adorable football/Nebraska cupcakes!  They were so easy and super cute!  They definitely got us ready for the first Nebraska football game!

Mary Kay Kick-Off Party

We did a Mary Kay kick-off party for one of my former college professors!  We did a vanilla bean cake with an almond frosting and a strawberry cake with a banana frosting! They we adorable and very yummy!

Go Rampage!

We made these softballs for Jenny's daughter, Loren's, softball team this summer!  They were adorable and a huge "hit"!

Thanks Heather!

We made these for my AWESOME student teacher, Heather's, last day with my class!  They were adorable and really good!  The cake was strawberry and the frosting was lemonade.  Then we used mini chocolate chips for the eyes, licorice for the smile, and candy corn for the sun rays!  So cute and fun!

Babies, Babies, Babies!!!

We had another baby shower to do cupcakes for!  We went with the adorable chocolate frogs and ducks (they're just too cute not to!) The mommy-to-be does not know the gender of the baby yet, but the girls who were giving the baby shower all played volleyball at Peru State with her, so they wanted the blue frosting to help remember the good ol' days!  Enjoy!

Reruns...

Jenny volunteers at Reruns so we felt like we should make cupcakes for all of their hard work!  We tried something new with flavors on these...the cake was strawberry and the frosting was banana!  They smelled amazing and tasted great!  Then we added the pink chocolate molds to the top!

Girls Bonfire Night!

Okay so we have the best friends ever and we love to just have a good time together!  So to kick off the summer we decided to have a bonfire/sleepover night...so of course we made cupcakes!  We went with the pina colada cake with banana or coconut frosting again (we were on a kick with this flavor for a while) and we did all "summery" chocolate molds....then the crushed graham crackers for sand...to make us feel like we were on the beach! They were great and a fun time was had by all!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

We made these for my birthday...what better to put on top of my cupcakes than chocolate volleyballs and flip flops!  I picked my favorite flavors of our cupcakes....pina colada cake with the banana or coconut frosting!  Then we crushed up graham crackers for the "sand".  They were great and I got to share them with the people I love most!

Happy 4th of July!!!

These were our 4th of July cupcakes and we were very proud of them!  For the stars and sprinkles batch...we did pina colada cake with either banana or coconut frosting (tasted so good and summery!) Then for the flag the blue frosting was blueberry, the red frosting was cherry, and the white was banana. They were very yummy and looked adorable!

Another baby shower!

Another one of our great friends, Tara, was having a baby shower for her niece!  We absolutely loved these cupcakes!  We did chocolate frog and duck toppers for some...then made the baby faces for a few others.  They were absolutely adorable!

Wedding Bells!

We made these cupcakes for our good friend Heather's sister!  She was having a bridal shower and these were a big hit!  We did three different cakes; vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet.  Then each kind had a different chocolate topper...either an engagement ring, a fondant heart, or a chocolate bride and groom!  We used the colors of the wedding; Clover (green), Buttercup (yellow), and the blue....all the colors together looked amazing! They turned out great!
